Nicholas Katsafanas

In the world of American Letters, Nicholas "Nee Nee" Katsafanas stands out for a few reasons: using the tenets of fractal geometry to alter the composition of the English language; a fierce DIY approach to distributing his texts; a consensually rapist's wit; a regrettable history as an avant-garde rapper; and a bold willingness to repurpose Microsoft Excel as a word processor.

Katsafanas spent years in Quezon City, Manila consuming hefty amounts of psychedelic mushrooms while memorizing The Bezels of Wisdom and listening to the Amanedes of Michalopoulos. That is until he was discovered passed out nude on a 5 peso Taco Bell bean burrito by the local authorities, beaten severely, and deported to Providence, Rhode Island.

Perhaps unjustly repatriated, he currently resides in a 64 square foot prayer room studio on the south side of city, only smoking shisha at maximum twice per week and never drinking Mezcal at all.
